I can float between both polarities. There wasn’t an option for this. 🙁

I personally don’t think of myself in either dominant or submissive. I tend to think of it in terms of am I on whether I am focused on giving or receiving, and that can alternate several times in any given lovemaking session.

Even if one is giving, or receiving, there can be a leader (D). To give doesn’t necessarily equate dominant. As to receiving doesn’t equate submissive. I tend to view “dominant” as the head of it, the leader.

I don’t disagree that there is probably a leader and a follower in most encounters, but in my experience it has been that the giver is most often the leader. It isn’t that the receiver has no input at all, but more that we have long established patterns and within a given act or set of acts, it has already been pretty well choreographed. When you get right down to it, my wife is probably more dominant in that she is more likely to shift my approach either subtly, or occasionally more boldly if something is not working for her, or even uncomfortable, and I am more likely to let her have her way with me entirely.

I can’t say that I have any objections to that, so maybe I am just a touch submissive in the bed.

Depends on the position right. Missionary PIV become more male dominated while WOT make woman dominate

I think it is more about attitude than any position. No matter who is on top, a dominate can be directing it or even allowing it to happen. A wife can still be submissive by straddling her husband, he can direct with words or touch.

I hadn’t even thought of that before. May have to try this in the future.

The majority of the time I prefer to be dominant. Nothing too complicated though. When I am dominant its about getting down to business; warm her up, flip her over, and do her hard from behind. I do enjoy it though when my wife is dominant, especially when she is on top. She goes for a slower and more sensual kind of dominance.

I’m not really sure what I prefer as I am usually the one directing our activities. So while I’m typically (read nearly always) the more dominate or leading partner, I long for Wifey to take the giving role where I can just relax and enjoy the experiencing her love for me.

I consider myself dominant in every area of life except sex. My wife from the very beginning was more dominant and very controlling when it comes to sex. If being a gatekeeper is dominant, she has always been dominant.

Hi Ron. So do you prefer to be the sub in bed? How is your wife more dominant and controlling than you?
