I’m dating myself here… but here goes:

“The Last Thing I Needed, The First Thing This Morning” by Willie Nelson https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OrU4Nx2AcT8   But it does bring back happy memories of DW and I seeing him perform it live at the Opryhouse in Nashville about 40 yrs ago…

Other candidates from our early days…

“The Cats in the Cradle” – Harry Nilson  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KUwjNBjqR-c

“American Pie” – Don McLean https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7yHTpGog0IY

And there are any number of country tearjerkers that fit the bill..

I’m going patriotic here and saying I would not want to hear The Star Spangled Banner, even though there may be the red glare of rockets and bombs bursting in the air at the time along with other things standing at attention, I’d rather reserve that song for its intended purpose.
