A Time To Reflect

    Hi Beloved,

I received this email from The Marriage Minute by The Gottman Institute and wanted to share to spur your thinking.

As the year comes to a close, there’s an opportunity to reflect. Consider the following questions.
    • How have you changed in the last year?
    • How has your spouse changed this year?
    • How has your relationship changed?
    • What would you like to do more of in the coming year? What would you like to cut down on?
Healthy relationships allow room for change and growth.

Share with your spouse one positive change you’ve observed in them in the last year. How has it impacted the relationship?

I have grown in the last year in realizing/seeing more of  my weaknesses and need for change, maturity in Christ.  I have grown and matured leaning to wait and be patient more often.  One way has been to speak slowly after first partly digesting an argument or in being confronted by a woman upset over a sermon point/illustration.

I need to write more and have set that process in motion.

My spouse has become more determined over the past year.  She is ever the darling I first married and more so in her commitment to our mission.
