Can I edit email settings?

Answered

    Hello all!  Is there a way to not receive email notifications about my account, like when I get a reply to a question?  My computer is shared and I would like to keep my TMB activity private 🙂

      Thanks Seeking Change and all who contributed. I can’t answer on comment as I don’t have enough points or something but thanks anyway.

        @Raymond:

        You can leave comments once you reach “Double Bed” status, which require 100 points:

        Looks like you’re at 45 points right now!

        I will probably never make that as I sleep in a single bed.

          Thankyou Seeking Change.  My comment is gone when I tried to thank people. I also tried to change the e mail on User Settings but it went back to the shared one again. Probably the reason is because I tried to start again with a new e mail and the two conflict as it’s on the same computer.  The answer would be to cancel on this one if I can and use the other name. I wonder if I am meant to be on here. It sure is complicated.

            I was able to set up a filter in my email after watching a video on youtube that walked me through it.  Now they don’t even show up in my inbox, they go straight to a folder that I designated.

            Although a very popular and widespread e-mail service, just a heads up that you technically gave away a bit of “personal” info by showing that video, as we now know your e-mail provider. I seriously doubt that would be of any use to anyone, but did just want to mention it (and you can edit your answer to remove the link if it worries you).

            Again, thank you.  I’m not too worried about it but I like to air on the side of caution when it comes to privacy.  Also, someone without my provider wouldn’t have found the video useful anyway.
