I am thinking of getting DW a clit stimualtor that has the suction/pressure method of stimulation. It seems to be getting very popular, but their are so many different models on the market, ranging from$50 to $200.Are the cheaper ones junk?I noticed Walmart has one for $35,and I have been told it is not easy getting your product in walmart.Im not too concerned about spending up to $200 if it works.
I can’t speak to the cheaper products. I have the Satisfyer Pro, and have had it for a few years and use it fairly regularly. Have you read reviews on [the cheaper one]? I would recommend doing that.
Personally, I think $35 doesn’t seem like too much money to give it a shot. Who knows, you could find it highly satisfying. I know with a bullet vibe a cheapy one has been our favorite. We have had to replace it a few times in 7 years, but it’s much better money spent than some of the more expensive vibrators we have that sit in a box unused.
edited to clarify, and fix a grammar issue that has been bugging mean since I originally posted it on my phone 😳
We have used the Lelo Sona and had good results. I agree with SC though, if you’re trying it out and not sure, the cheaper one may be the way to go to start. You can always buy up. I’ve also heard the Womanizer is good, but not used it. All stimulators are not equal. It’s fun to experiment. It’s also worth time doing some research. You should get some good feedback from this group.
We have a Womanizer that DW enjoys on occasion, especially if the surrounding area is overly sensitive as it really focuses on the clitoris and a small surrounding area. But the one we use most is a sort-of L-shaped “repurposed” prostate massager by Utimi. It seems to have the right vibration patterns and with a smooth silicone surface.
This was part of a long question I had a few weeks ago. I need to go back and update that thread, but the short version is that we tried the We-Vibe Melt and it was a complete failure for us. It was too stimulating on even the lowest setting. We’ve tried it twice and that was the result both times. Worse, it gets the “overstimulated” feeling so fast that using it for even a short bit led to it being more difficult to achieve an O with the subsequent use of our traditional vibe.
Reviews are overwhelmingly positive, so this was a real downer for us. Like most toys for the stimulators, there is a gamut of reviews, from “this did nothing for me”, to “I came for the first time” to “I came 7 times and used to just get 1 before this” to “the O’s felt mechanical and unsatisfying” to “most satisfying O’s ever” to “it turned me into a squirter”. I’m literally not joking when I say I read all of those things, many of them multiple times.
Apparently, the different makes/models all feel different for different women, with some preferring 1 and others another. My thought is that no one can answer if this will work for you, you’ll just have to try it out. Starting cheap might be a good idea, as losing over $100 to that toy was painful.
The Womanizer is my wife’s toy of choice for a few years now. I can’t speak about the less expensive models as they weren’t an option when we bought the Womanizer. Being a numbers geek, I can’t believe that I haven’t thought about the “pleasure payback” on this investment but it has to be pennies per O by now. Quite the bargain I’d say.
