Deleting first post

    Hi everyone, just wanted to let you know that I plan to delete my first post, as it would be more honoring to my husband, and the basic issues are solved / in progress.

    I’ve been torn between this and thinking of all the time you put into helping, but it’s the right choice and don’t think I’ll be at peace leaving it up.

    In case you want to save your own answers, I’ll leave it up for a few days.

    As I volunteer at a Christian chatline, I like to copy & paste answers that I’ve already written, to reuse with other people later. And I thought for your sake (since you all had great advice) you should have the opportunity to go back & save what you wrote.

    Fyi, I copied the entire thread for future reference.

    Also, my husband should know I’m on here, and if he doesn’t like the idea, then I won’t continue. So far it seems like God has been using you, though 🙂

    God bless you all!

        As someone who also likes to copy and paste answers I really appreciate the heads-up. I put a  lot of time into thinking through my responses and having them randomly get deleted is a bummer. Thanks again.

        Yes I can imagine!! I hope you can use your thoughts for other people, even if it’s not the same situation (ours is really rare). But the general principles might help someone else.

          I think that it is premature to suggest that the issue is solved. However, I respect your wish to draw matters to a close and remove the discussion from the public domain.

            @David

            Yes, I did get that impression from the comments on my post.

            The main issues are solved as far as communication, things I was worried about, etc.

            In a normal frame of mind, I would have asked my husband before getting outside help.  Planning to tell him I did. But whether he reads the post or not, it still seems like a way to honor him.
