Do you write erotic stories or poetry for your spouse?

I’m a writer, so I guess I come by it naturally. But I’ve written erotic stories for my wife for years. They always feature just two people: us, named our actual names. But in a variety of situations that stem from our imaginations. She’ll give me suggestions of a scenario, and I’ll write it. She loves reading them.

Anyone else do this, or perhaps write erotic poetry?

I sat down one day to knock out a quick little erotic story for the hubby just for fun and to exercise my writing muscles. It morphed into a detailed recollection of the first time we ML (which was on our honeymoon) and when I re-read it I found it so erotic that I decided it needed to be more finished and polished so I could present it as a bigger deal. (Then I haven’t taken time to do that. I’ll have to put it on my to-do list!)

When I was deployed to Desert Storm,  I wrote a letter that probably falls into that category almost every day.

          It’s a gift, and I don’t have it.

Several years ago, I wrote an erotic story about the 2 of us for my wife as one of her Christmas gifts.  She seemed to enjoy it.  I’ve thought about doing it again but I don’t seem to have the time now that I did then.  I should probably budget some though because I had as much fun writing it as (I think) she did reading it.

For our anniversary a couple of years back I wrote my DW a  story of our wedding day.  My intent was to call to mind the blessing of our union in specific details and emotions, with the heartfelt emotions of the day.  I’m not a great writer but I did it. She had no response.  But I expected that and the point was that I could cross off a task that I felt was important.

No, I haven’t. I don’t think it would be my wife’s sort of thing. But I have wrote her many non-sexual romantic poems.

DW does not like reading. She is always busy with her own activities. I do enjoy reading and writing. A few times I have written some few romantic poetry for her, she did read them and then her comments follows.
