Female HRT experience?

Hey so, my wife and I both got plagued with strange symptoms that sorta line up with hormone problems. I ended up testing low testosterone and have been on trt for a couple months. It’s helped with some things but still probably needs to get dialed in.

Wife got her thyroid checked but didn’t get extensive hormone bloods. I was wondering if anyone had experience with female hrt? Is it weekly injections like men? I’m sure there is a balancing act  between several or many hormones.

Also, wife is 36 and we haven’t been able to conceive. We understand the risks of my trt in that regard but does female hrt have any negative effect on fertility? Not finding much info on the interwebs for females.

I originally got all of my meds through Defy. My CNP is now writing some scripts for me and saving me a lot of money. She was skeptic when I first went to her for my Defy physical. Now, she asks if she can write scripts for me.

I haven’t answered because I know there are people on here who have more direct experience with this than I. I personally don’t have experience with this, but from those I know who do, the majority use creams rather than injections.

My wife and I are both on HRT with Defy medical.  My wife started after I almost begged her to and saw a huge difference. She is now a big propenent. She uses creams, I use injections. Defy is absolutely the best option I found for  HRT. Most doctors are not well-versed in HRT. We’re both in our 60’s.

I’m on TRT with Defy currently. Kinda pricey but worth it. Is female hrt comparable in price to your own hrt at defy?

Yes. Similar. My biggest is with the costs are the $15 shipping charges. We try to order together so we only have one shipping cost.  They also doubled the consultation fees but I consult with Nurse Jill now which is cheaper.  The 6 month blood work is also pricey and probably the biggest expense.
