I found this resource
Focus on the Family sent me this offer ages ago and I’m just now looking into it. I’m signing up now (so cannot vouch for it) and thought I’d share. 🙂
This is the distinction I have been working towards in my marriage. I know that we love one another, but it can feel like duty. I have repeated many times over the past months that I want to cherish my wife. Seeing this link and going through it, it nails what I feel we need to work on, and we have! I love the Adam and Eve mentality. No comparisons. There’s one woman that God chose for me.
after my bout with adultry, this is one of the books I turned to for inspiration on how to act like the husband my wife really deserves… I’ve read it all the way through twice and reference it often when I need to be reminded. Husband’s everywhere should read Cherish… I too will sign up for the videos in hopes they inspire me to do even better!
I read the book a few years ago. I would say that it will challenge you in ways you can’t foresee, but when you really make an effort, it makes a difference.
I will add that it is easy to do in the short term, but hard to meet that standard without re-commiting to it regularly.
My husband and I watched the first link…. it was only a few minutes long. Which was kind of a disappointment, but for couples who struggle with time, it’s doable. It also comes with some discussion questions you can download and discuss.
