Men’s health issue

For some time now, if I go more than 2 days without ejaculating the next one ends up being quite painful.  If I stay below that I don’t seem to have a problem.  Also volume of semen is higher than it has been.  I don’t like rushing to a doctor but thought I’d see if anyone here has experienced something similar.

Some couples operate on the 48 hour rule – they never go beyond that without providing each other a release.

The articles on the main page of TMB indicate that because semen is produced continuously, for some men they have a sense of fullness even after one day.

Or, as you likely know, generally, the more arousal you have during the day or the more edging that you experience, the more you will feel the need for a release because of a sense of fullness.

If you are experiencing pain, you probably should see your doctor.

I had prostatitis years ago when we abstained from ML as my wife was recovering from birthing our 2nd son… as EATS noted above, that was painful and bloody during urination.  Mine solved with antibiotics and M until we resumed PIV sex.  Doesn’t sound like what you are having.  I too think you should see a urologist…

I’m a bit young here but used to have problems like that when I was still single. This was after I kicked my porn habit, but before I got married. I remember I once went about a year without ejaculating and the next one hurt really bad and was bloody. A couple of years later I was diagnosed with chronic prostatitis. They gave me a pill to take and it helped me.
I would agree with one_woman_man you should probably see a medical professional, but hopefully it’s nothing serious.

I had this recently, as we’ve been either busy or sick and one of my recent ejaculations was quite voluminous and then ended up being bloody at the end, which scared us. Fortunately, after some research, we decided no doctor visit was needed, and sure enough, things have been normal since. It’s definitely something to keep an eye on, though.

I have had this issue too with exceptionally large volumes with red through it and painful throughout.  I researched a lot and read around it and managed to gather enough advice and knowledge to realise that although it MAY have been prostatisis, I didn’t require an antibiotic.  I am very reluctant to take medicines, especially Antibiotic.  I changed my diet significantly and took supplements that were recommended.  I noticed an improvement within days.
