Shower stool/bench for sex?

Answered

Recent threads about showering together and shower sex have us wanting to do it more. Showering is usually limited to foreplay for us because standing positions don’t work well, but a nice waterproof shower bench/stool I could sit on and she could straddle me would probably work. Anyone have something like that to recommend? Preferably wood (like teak) that is waterproof and looks nice, not something plastic and medical looking… so many options on Amazon, etc.

So I’ve invested FAR too much time on this!  I’m a carpenter, so I understand the wood side of this.

First, teak is expensive! Secondly, if you want to buy a stool it will have to be really short if she’s going to straddle you so her feet can be on the floor of the shower. I built a weird looking contraption out of marine grade plywood, sanded the heck out of it and put a million coats of shellac on it and gave it a go.  We found that it worked, but it wasn’t the best. When I was seated upright, part of my length disappeared into my lap (that’s a weird one to explain!) and she prefers the deeper penetration. I tried laying on the floor, but her knees didn’t like it and i felt like I was being water boarded!

We are 8 inches different in height, so from behind was tricky…my legs always got quite the workout! So, I’ve built two small “DW foot size” blocks (6 inches high) that sit in the corner of the shower. On the average day, they are stacked up and she uses them to prop her foot up to shave her legs. But when the mood strikes us, she stands on them and we ML from behind. Our shower is 3×5, so there’s enough room for it, and I know some don’t have that much space.

This was the best option if we were going to have shower sex, and the safest. Both blocks have self-adhesive felt on the top and bottom. Her feet don’t slip and the felt stays put on the tile.

My husband worked hard to make our soaker tub a place we could comfortably shower together (versus the actual small shower beside it), he went with the medical looking stuff (aka cheap). I have no recommendations, but when you find something, I would love to hear your review on it.

We have a long term plan to renovate our master bathroom and enlarge our tiny shower. I’m going to build a seat into the shower wall, kind of like a 2 foot ledge. It probably won’t work super great for PIV because of our mechanics of alignment, but I’m hoping OS may be on the table by the time I get around to working on the shower.

Make certain that it’s sturdy and doesn’t slip!

Your question made me envision Mrs. Oldbear and me slipping and sliding around on the floor of the shower like a couple of frisky seals (fit and trim, I might add). A funny scene, but not too comfortable and a lot dangerous!

I have a shower stool for medical necessity right now,  I think it would be good for sitting positions.
