Answer questions so they can get voted up. Just an FYI, there are no notifications for comments, unlike answers, so those comments can easily get missed. When you answer you can just do an “@theusersname”, they will know you actually replied, and then if it gets voted up, you get more points as well.

ask for your answers to be voted up. Ask questions that get a response, like this one.

I, too, would like to comment and need a few more points.

I thought you couldn’t answer a question until you had 30 points.  I tried earlier and it said I couldn’t.

@JayDee, if you haven’t figured it out yet, there’s a difference between an “answer” and a “comment”. Anyone can “answer”, but you have to have so many points to “comment” under someone elses “answer”.

“Answers” with an @username, is sometimes the best move, especially on older questions, because there are zero notifications to comments, other than a number when one goes back to reread. An “answer” is more likely to be seen, plus it gives you the chance to get more points.

Could have sworn I tried to answer previously and it said I didn’t have enough points as well.  Anyways, got 30 now, thanks.
