Today’s Question(s) of the Day for 9/10/2019
Aging is a blessing in the security it has brought through the Lord’s provision in my DW. I can count on her, rely upon her sexually. It has been a challenge because of the slowly growing ways we cannot or would not have the same sexual experience. But aging has also brought new ways that we experiment with. I don’t lift her in the shower anymore, but that kind of stopped when we put a foot through the wall. We do enjoy more pillows and set positions.
Can’t say that aging in particular has had any effect. Long-standing chronic illnesses for both of us have been far more of a factor. I have not seen any difference in our physical capabilities over time (31 years) due to aging.
Maturity on the other hand has been a blessing. Although we are not actively enjoying our marriage bed ATM, if we ever resume our sex life, I’m sure it will be better than it was before, because our relationship is much better than it was before.
Everyone ages, but not everyone matures 🙂
I love the comment “Everyone ages, but not everyone matures”! We both have experienced health issues which were challenging but we are closer as a result of these issues. When we first met she made me smile and was a joy to me. She still makes me smile and is still a joy!
We know each other’s intimate and sexual desires and delights. There is no inhibition or shyness to be completely vulnerable. We give and ask for sex and intimacy generously. We love to see each other’s body and delight in them beautifully aging. (Mrs. Oldbear is elegantly beautiful.) If we O, great! If we just cuddle, great!
