What do you use to clean toys?

My husband was slow to get on board with using toys so we never had many and I just used soap but I know it can build a film that increases friction.  What are your favorite go to ways to clean toys, at home recipe or bought cleaners.

We still use soap and water, haven’t noticed any problems with build up and friction.

We just use antibacterial hand soap.  I hadn’t heard anything about it causing a film, and we’ve never had a problem with that.

On the ones that are a slick plastic texture we often just wipe off with a baby wipe. Otherwise we just use hand soap. No problems so far.

All of our toys are the softer texture medical-grade silicone.  The manufacturer recommends just soap and water cleanup.  We do use antibacterial hand soap after every use.

Just soap and water here as well.

I use sensitive skin baby wipes most of the time, although I use sensitive soap and running water every so often as well.

I’m also in the soap and water camp.

                    Rinse very very well.

Anti-bacterial hand soap and warm/hot water.
