How are you going to celebrate Mom’s Day? If you have young kids, how are you going to honor their mom? Your spouse? Your mom? Are there traditions you have?

Re: Photography tips

I’ve done a lot of photography of both my wife and/or myself nude over the years (by her request) and I have a few tips: * Lighting: warm, softer lighting is good. Nothing overhead—from the side is better. Dimmer lighting that throws shadows is good, especially if she has body image concerns. * Pos...

Re: The "Orgasm Gap" and Incorrect Sexual Education

What would be interesting to find out is whether: 1. women who consistently have orgasm have more sex than women who don't. 2. women who became sexually active later in life have more sex than women who started early. 3. women who are more attractive have more sex than those less attractive. 4. wom...

Re: 05/06/2021 - Who made the move to kiss first?

Ooooooh, that question will start a "fight" in our house. We'd just finished having an emotional "where are we at/'I (DW) am starting to fall in love with you'" relationship conversations because if I wasn't serious, she didn't want to go any further and get her heart broke...

Re: Difference in Communication

Personally, a good therapist in our area was $150+ for 50 minutes. That's not a cost easily put in a monthly budget, let alone a weekly budget. It would be way too much to share how God's worked in all our years, around the "counseling" thing, but with "the latter" in mind that ...

Re: Difference in Communication

say he and his spouse go to counseling every week because there's always something they can talk about or process. OK, so let me ask, if this man who makes a living listening to others does this, why is it that so many people here and elsewhere think they know more than this professional and that g...

Re: Saying Goodbye to Sex

I'm sorry but I don't believe you can just kill your desire. You can try to dampen it, you can try to starve it, BUT ultimately, it will frustrate you and because of trying to do so, it will continue to create tension in your marriage AND may lead to becoming more and more inauthentic in who you are...

Re: Difference in Communication

Please enlighten me with a circumstance where a spouse does not need to know what the other spouse is doing "behind their back." I appreciate further explanation. •Those seeking help, counsel or ideas, of various kinds. •Those who have nowhere else to go or anyone else to talk to. •Those ...
